Tower crane Maintenance System-Steel Wire Rope and Its Maintenance
Tower Hang Maintenance System-Steel Wire Rope and Its Maintenance
1. Steel wire ropes shall be used to prevent wire ropes from being wound, twisted, bent or glued to debris during use, and to prevent friction with mechanical or other debris.
2. After the tower crane is installed(before use), the wire rope shall be lubricated, and the graphite grease shall be applied again. Afterwards, the lubrication of the wire rope shall be carried out according to the "crane lubrication meter".
3. The overall design of the tower crane does not allow the wire rope to have an indefinite life. It should be scrapped in one of the following cases:
A. Steel wire rope 6 × 19-d(D wire rope diameter) The number of broken wires in 6D length exceeds 5, and the number of broken wires in 30D length exceeds 10.
B. Steel wire rope 6 × 37-d(D steel wire diameter) The number of broken wires in 6D length exceeds 10, and the number of broken wires in 30D length exceeds 19.
C. The wire ropes are close together and should be scrapped even if the number of broken wires does not exceed 5 in 6D length.
D. Although the wire rope is not broken, the wire rope wears 40 % of its diameter, or when the wire rope decreases by 7 % or more relative to the nominal diameter, or the wire rope is obviously bent.
E. The wire rope loses its normal shape and produces deformities, such as waves, cage-like distortions, rope extrusion, wire extrusion, local enlargement of the rope diameter, twisting, partial reduction of the rope diameter, partial compression, and bending.
F. When the wire diameter is subjected to special heat, an identifiable color appears on the outside.
Note: When lifting molten or hot metals, acid solutions, explosives, inflammable materials, the number of broken wire wire scrap is halved. This specification does not mention that the situation is governed by the provisions of GB5972.
Tower Hang Maintenance System-Repair and Maintenance of Metal Structures
Tower Hang Maintenance System-Repair and Maintenance of Metal Structures
1. Strict implementation of Crane steel structure parts scrap standards.
2. The main structural parts should be inspected for metal fatigue strength, weld cracks, structural deformation, breakage, etc..
The key welds of the main structural parts and the parent materials in the welding heat affected area should be inspected. If abnormal conditions are found, they should be treated. Structures shall be inspected in accordance with the following procedures.
(A) Daily Inspection: The tower crane should undergo a daily inspection every 24 hours of work. The tower crane driver should check the fastening condition of the bolts at each connection site when handing over the shift. If there is any loosening, it should be fastened in time.
(B) When there is an abnormal sound or misoperation of the tower crane, or when the security protection device for the tower crane is found to have failed, it should be checked and recorded.
(C) When a project is completed and the tower crane is dismantled, the engineering technicians and professional maintenance personnel shall conduct detailed inspections and make good records.
3. In the course of transportation, every effort should be made to prevent structural deformation and collision damage.
4. Brush paint every six months to a year. Rust, oil and other dirt on the metal surface should be removed before painting.
